Hydrotherapy

Tip-Top is a member of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association. This is your assurance that we adhere to the CHA code of practice and take the quality of our care and standard of facilities extremely seriously. We have two fully trained hydrotherapists, and as well as working in the hydrotherapy centre, we also take an active part in the dog training school. We all have a great deal of experience in dog handling and behaviour, so we will never compromise the wellbeing of your dog.

What we do -

Underwater Treadmill Therapy

We can use the treadmill to treat a wide range of medical conditions. For dogs that are worried by water, the treadmill would be our preferred choice and the majority of dogs thoroughly enjoy it. We can treat any size or breed of dog, and our spaceous dog friendly treadmill helps to make the whole experience easy and stress free.

Here at Tip-Top we have two water treadmills.The therapy is often so efficient and effective, we have helped transform the lives of many of our patients.

Swimming

Please note that we are not currently using the pool.

We have a beautiful heated swimming pool where your dog will be carefully and sympathetically handled to help him to swim well. We can design a therapy plan specifically for your dog, taking into account his age, medical condition and fitness level.

Our pool has a unique entry system, so your dog will not be subjected to negotiating a scary ramp or be lifted in a worrying harness. We pride ourselves on our handling skills - please call to discuss any concerns you may have.

Dont forget the youngsters -

preventative therapy can pay dividends in the long run. If you have a puppy of a breed type which has a high risk of developing joint problems, we can work with your puppy to keep him strong during the fast growth period.
